I have returned to my old Haunt and set up shop on the Mornington Peninsula.
Tried to jam pack as much learn as I could while interstate and abroad, now I wish to live my life long dream of living and designing on this unique landscape.
My opinion, you don't really need to live locally to understand local context, and design on its soil. It's just a most rewarding feeling to come home and stay home after many years away, and be able to do what I do well, and enjoy it.
I grew up here, as did my wife Stacey, and so will our kids.

My passion is residential design, My principals are simple:
1. Comprehensively assess, and understand the site and it's surrounding context.
2. Accurately document the client brief, and align the budget.
3. Sensitively extract, and honestly interpret the clients idea, aspiration, or dream.

If I follow these principals, then my experience and my will to continue learning, generally points the process in a direction, far removed than I or the clients may have previously considered. This result is my product, my service and my belief.

No idea whether the timings right, very happy I've taken the leap though....
