WEIAN LIM
Weian Lim graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with honors. He is a registered architect in Victoria, Australia.

After graduating, Weian spent several years at the award-winning practice of Matt Gibson Achitecture+Design before founding WALA.

During his time at MGA+D, Weian was instrumental in realising many of the firm’s national and international award-winning projects; his efforts culminated in winning the Best Young Architect Prize at the 2011 Intergrain Timber Award.

In 2012, Weian was honored to be one of five recipients nation-wide to embark on the nationally acclaimed Dulux Study Tour which recognises and rewards emerging Australian architects for their contribution to architectural practice, education, design excellence and community involvement.

In 2014, Weian founded WALA to further push his design ideas and apply his experience in Melbourne’s bespoke housing scene to new and exciting projects.
