Ward Huting (1978, Gouda, the Netherlands) studied Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at Minerva Academy in Groningen. He graduated in 2003. In 2004 Huting started his own design company for interior architecture. He often works together with Gerard de Hoop under the name ‘Huting en de Hoop’. Ward Huting’s work is characterized by the search of the basics of a furniture piece. This search is translated into recognizable and clear designs with a sense of realism.
