Walter Nicolino

Walter founded WNA Walter Nicolino Architects in 2015, practising in Turin in the fields of architecture, interior design and urban planning.
Involved as visiting lecturer to numerous cultural institutions and universities, Walter is the scientific
coordinator of the Interior Design Department in the IAAD University and currently involved, as
adjunct professor, in the Architecture and Design Department of “Politecnico di Torino”.
A former fouding partner of Carlo Ratti Associati firm, Walter’s projects have been featured in
numerous publications and exhibitions, including the Venice Architecture Biennale.
WNA firm’s recent works include a wide range of scales and typologies: from urban regeneration to
learning spaces, offices, private houses, as well as research oriented projects for the public space.
Walter Nicolino graduated as architect from the Turin Politecnico, discussing a urban design project awarded Honourable Mention in the Archiprix 2003 – World’s Best Graduation Projects.
