Graduated at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) in 1973. He worked with Jose Antonio Coderch before establishing his own practice.
He taugth at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) from 1977 until 2010. He has been visiting professor at several schools of architecture and he has been a jury member of several architectural competitions.
In addition to his academic commitment, he lectures extensively both in Spain and abroad and writes regularly on architecture.
