Since graduating from the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in 1997, Gaetano Castiello worked on different scales of architectural practice in Rome (Studio Fuksas and Prof. S. Cordeschi), Naples and Basel. He has been involved in the design of urban spaces in the city of Basel since 2004. He is working in the Planning Office of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and in his own office URBANE LANDSCHAFTEN (urban landscapes) as well. His design projects received numerous awards e.g. for the
