Tōfus is an Architecture and Design studio based in Naples, Italy. Tōfus consists of Alberto Grasso e Augusto De Cesare, both architects, grown up and trained and continuously influenced by this city. Tōfus means tuff. It’s a Latin word that derives from ancient Greek. The Greek themselves, used to call this rock also póros, because of its own lightness and porosity. Tōfus has the porosity of the tuff itself, as it absorbs and assimilates external incitements, experiences and knowledge. It
