Halcyon Furniture
As a rule, Halcyon furniture is made to order. Lead times vary from a week or two for our most popular pieces, up to several months for the ‘from scratch’ design and build process of our commissioned work.

We do however carry some stock of our production items and of course yet to be sold individual pieces. These will usually be priced on their respective pages on our site.

If the item you are considering is not priced or available from stock, please contact us and we will provide pricing, lead time and delivery information and answer any other questions you may have.

Much of Halcyons work is unique. Many are hand carved and all of course are created from different pieces of timber with individual grain, markings and character. This is at the core of our design ethos. As such, items purchased may differ slightly from those pictured. If requested and where possible, we will happily email images of your particular item, but please understand that this might not always be possible.

Our bespoke work is where we really get to be creative. They are the heart and soul of Halcyon and while we take great pleasure in bringing high design to our customers with our production designs, we live to find the timber gems that inspire our numbered bespoke pieces.

The pieces are always inspired by the piece of timber we begin with, from a natural edge board, right up to an entire tree trunk. The form, shape and grain of the material informs the final piece. These take the form of beautiful, practical furniture items such as benches and tables, through to indulgent abstract artworks.

To this we may then add complimentary, contrasting materials such as glass, steel or resins, both to enhance and highlight the warmth and natural beauty of the wood.

Some items form part of a series of pieces, similar in concept but all unique due to the variance in timbers and materials utilised in their creation. Some are one of a kind and never to be repeated.
