Director
NSW registered architect #10383
Master of Architecture - University of Canberra

Thomas established Rama Architects in 2020 after plying his trade in the residential, multi-residential and aged-care sectors of architecture for over a decade, bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of delivering large scale projects and practice management. His passion in Architecture and Design is derived around aligning principals of practicality and functionality, notably enforced through the modernist ideologies of ‘form follows function’ and ‘less is more’. He has a keen eye in the construction detailing of projects and the analysing of how sophisticated layers of materials, new technologies and specialist consultants input all comes together in a harmonious and seamless manner with an emphasis on simplicity and restraint. He believes good design isn’t just about an aesthetic outcome shared by all, but rather a solution to a problem which stands the test of time. Outside of Rama Architects, Thomas enjoys down time with his family, good food and drink with mates, an awkward love for deep techno music, and is a tragic rugby fan.
