Thomas Dieben, born in 1980 in the city of Alkmaar, graduated in 2005 Cum Laude at the TU Delft. His mentors were Marc Pimlott, Jurjen Zeinstra and Tony Fretton. Fascinated by the border of public and private urban space he participated in the lab Interior where he produced his thesis named: `Urban Playground`. In 2002 and 2003 he studied at theEcole d’Architecture de La Villette in Paris at the atelier Franco-Americain which was led by Libero Andreotti.
