Sundar Italia’s living walls are designed to hold more plants; in some cases, up to 80-90 plants per square meter, compared to a maximum of 40-50 plants that a traditional planted wall holds. Esthetically speaking, this means a more beautiful, thicker, lusher wall.

Serenity first and foremost

Sundar’s Vertical Gardens are designed to be completely independent. Every garden has an automatic control system for fertilization/irrigation and lighting. They are connected via Wi-Fi to our Garden Control Network to keep us updated in real time about possible problems that could alter the health of the plants. Monitoring includes air humidity and temperature, fertilization and irrigation flow, electrical and water systems and the wireless connection.

From the project to the finished garden

Every Vertical Garden begins with an attentive dialogue between Sundar and the client/designer so that we can furnish gardens that are truly unique and highly personalized. Our technicians use the information collected during this dialogue to design a structure, and our botanists use it to outline an initial concept that will be synthesized in a groundwork sketch, a graphic illustration of the plant composition, where each color is associated with one or more types of plants (mix). Once the esthetic results are approved by the client, the walls are built and planted in the nursery and are put in place in a second phase, after the wall support structure has been installed. This method of operation means that the Vertical Garden will have a full immediate impact and optimal esthetic results, without having to wait for the plants to grow.

Flexible logistics

Sundar’s Modular System makes it possible to manage deliveries all over Italy and in many countries abroad. In fact, the Garden is disassembled into single panels that can be packed and shipped by land, air or sea, directly to where they are to be installed.

Assistance and maintenance service

Sundar Italia is committed to guaranteeing the best possible after-sales service. At the end of the warrantee period, clients can choose from a variety of maintenance solutions for their Garden, including single service or flat service packages that include 2-3 planned interventions annually. As always, prices are accessible and commensurate with the type of intervention necessary.

Environmental awareness

From the time it was founded, Sundar Italia has always been particularly sensitive to environmental issues. We have been a certified “Zero Carbon Footprint” company since 2013, meaning that the carbon emitted into the atmosphere during the construction of a Vertical Garden is offset by the absorption of CO2 and reduced energy consumption during the garden’s life cycle.
