Beltrame Studio is an architectural laboratory.

Growing up amidst vast forests and serene lakes, we developed a deep connection to ecology and sustainable materials—values that continue to shape our work today. We believe in working with natural materials, respecting their intrinsic qualities, and creating spaces for all living beings, from people to the surrounding environment.
Our projects span Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, with several, such as Pigna and Il Pino, receiving wide publication. Our commitment to sustainability has also been recognized; for example, the Home of BCH earned the prestigious Klima House Award.
For us, architecture is an extension of the landscape, and the landscape an integral architectural element. We craft projects that resonate at every scale, striving to evoke positive emotions while addressing the pressing challenges of our time. As the industry evolves, we are committed to regenerative design, flexible spaces, and thoughtful construction methods.
We envision an architecture that engages in dialogue with its surroundings while challenging the status quo—radical in its concepts yet ecological in its principles. Much like an oxymoron, we embrace contrasts to bring vitality and unexpected solutions to everyday questions: We care about the environment and user engagement, we come from the mountains yet work in cities, are multinational yet rooted in tradition, value simplicity yet tackle complexity. These paradoxes inspire us, but we also strive for coherence.
Ultimately, we aim to spark positive emotions in our projects. We celebrate natural materials, honoring their character. We design using both inert and living materials, creating architecture that serves all forms of life. At every scale, what we do reflects our philosophy: Architecture for the Landscape.
