Archer + Braun Architecture

Archer + Braun are a RIBA and RIAS chartered architecture practice based in London and Edinburgh that undertake projects across the UK.

Founded on a mutual passion for approachable, contemporary and contextual architecture, Sarah and Stuart have worked on a variety of projects for public, private and commercial clients. They have a particular interest in sensitively integrating contemporary interventions with period and listed buildings.

Their designs arise out of a close collaboration between client and architect and produce buildings that are a joy to inhabit. This has been recognised in international press, including the New York Times and nominations for BBC Scotland’s Home of the Year and the Dezeen Awards.

Stuart Archer (BA (Hons), MArch, PGDip, ARB, RIBA) studied at Manchester, Westminster and Kingston before obtaining experience in high-end residential work, interiors and commercial projects in London and further afield.

Sarah Braun (BSc (Hons), MArch, PGDipArch, ARB) studied at Cardiff and Westminster and spent time working on public buildings in Switzerland and housing projects in London. She is an occasional critic at the Welsh School of Architecture.
