INTER±POL Studios was founded in 2014 with the aim of taking on a pioneering role in the development of interdisciplinary creative concepts spanning various sectors.
As a founding partner, Mathias Müller-Using continued to develop the company and concentrated on the areas of urban development and architecture - with a focus on projects that promote the sustainable development of urban centres.
From 2016, he brought the American EXPO pavilion from Milan to the Stadtdeich in Hamburg, thus establishing the Hammerbrooklyn innovation centre. (The first phase of the Hammerbrooklyn building and digital neighbourhood concept was completed in 2021, the second phase is expected to be completed by 2028).
Mathias Müller-Using is convinced that concrete and creative model projects are needed for the social and ecological transformation of the city. That is why he founded the non-profit MUT Urban Trust Foundation together with like-minded people in 2022, which he manages on a voluntary basis as Managing Director.
