We took the first steps on new paths, armed with nothing but our own visions: what our work could be and ought to be. As children of a fantastic world where fantastic things happen, we believe in heroes with extraordinary powers and also that imagination has more power than anything else.

We question ourselves, each other and the buildings we create about what they want to be. If we get the answer, then the buildings are good. Otherwise, the projects remain incomplete, haunting our thoughts until we can eventually answer it. This dialogue, or sometimes monologue, is what brings us to architecture, fills us with exaltation and is damn hard. Thinking and making buildings is both ecstasy and struggle for us, and we try to transfer these overwhelming feelings into the buildings. In this process we make discoveries. Sometimes we also invent something new. Thinking and making buildings is a wonderful experience! This website is meant to be a small collection of our first buildings, in which these discoveries, experiences and innovations take shape, materialize and get real.
We think of all the architects who have thought, written and built before us, and we feel obliged to carry on this legacy. We also feel obliged to add something personal and mysterious to our work.

The work should be unique and enigmatic. We think of buildings that have an independent, radical expression in the world, that create value through their autonomy, and whose autonomy is a spatial quality. We believe that buildings should deal with artificiality by creating a whole out of thought and material. Coherence begins with an awareness of artificiality. To this end, buildings should have a radiant power and trigger something in their surroundings and in the observer. In this way, they are an inspiration. We are interested in constructing buildings that are magical. Perhaps by turning something ordinary into something unusual and attempting something impossible.
