Architect and urban planner, expert in urban projects and developments, he teaches in the Urban Planning Department of the Barcelona ETSAB Higher Technical School of Architecture. Member of the Board of Directors of Barcelona Regional (Urban Development Agency), he was Councilor for Architecture of Barcelona (2015-2019), his reputation as an "ideologue" of cities preceded him, having led the design of the new center of Barcelona that is Plaza de las Glories. Some of his completed projects are the Casa de la Cultura in Lloret de Mar, internationally awarded, or the Mercado de la Guineueta in Barcelona, selected among the three best rehabilitation works in the world.
