The KONKRET Studio started to take shape in 2010 with the aim of further utilizing the architectural knowledge and experience gained previously on individual trips and later in a joint team in an independent office. In 2014, we got to the point where we set up our own studio with an enthusiastic ever-expanding design team.
We have been planning through a variety of projects ever since and we have gained additional experience in the restoration of historic buildings and the planning of permanent cultural exhibitions across the country. We are constantly engaged in the complete general planning of greenfield cultural investments, as well as castle and church building reconstructions, together with the supervision of the construction.
With the help of our trained designers and partners, we can handle the full range of challenges that arise. We also regularly and gladly deal with the complete design of small-scale buildings, flats, residential houses, villas and condominiums.
Our goal is to operate a sensitive, creative process based on the ongoing dialogue of the participants, which in each case begins with understanding of the basics and needs. This approach helps us to design adequate solutions for each given situation and place, be it the Carpathian Basin or other parts of the world, in an ecologically and socially sustainable way, with the continuity of our architectural and cultural heritage in mind.
