Two Parts

Two Parts exploits the design opportunities created by technology. In 2015, architect Christo Logan was creating lighting for a building project just as high-CRI LEDs and high-quality 3D printing processes had become accessible and affordable. The confluence of these technological capabilities opened up the possibilities for what a light fixture could be.

Assembled in his Brooklyn apartment, the original ceramic pendant series won the Good Design Award and top honors from Blueprint Magazine, Architectural Record, World Interiors News, Exhibitor Magazine, IFDA, IDA and ICFF. After reaching the production capacity of machine-printed ceramic, he reinvented the products in new materials and mass production processes. The designs evolved into the current collection of cast polymer LED fixtures that retain the unique shapes of the originals and improve upon them in every way.
