A-G studio is a residential and commercial interior design firm founded in 2012 by Andrés Gutiérrez.
A-G interprets design under a common, international language. It follows global trends nevertheless finding ways of always highlighting Mexican culture. Rather than developing projects for purely aesthetic purposes, A-G seeks to achieve an emotional rapport between a space and its user by means of psychology, color and an adequate furnishing selection and design.
A-G studio has been rewarded by several publications and awards such as the Mexican Architectural Biennale, IIDDA Best Interiors of Latin America and the Caribbean, Best of Year by Interior Design magazine, among others.
The firm has grown from being a young emerging studio to earn a fundamental place in Mexico’s interior architecture scene. Using tools such as color psychology and focusing on making the user “feel the space”, A-G projects envision an exchange of sensorial information, creating an organic experience in a controlled environment. With the help of the user’s own personality or the space’s past history, A-G conveys specific purposes.
