Dicecca Zappatore Architetti
Architecture Firm Altamura / Italy
Massimo Dicecca and Valentina Zappatore have been collaborating since 2010, sharing a vision of architecture that places the project at the center, as act of synthesis of different knowledges and disciplines. Their work investigates different intervention scales and different design levels, always tending to seek a balance between innovative strength and reference to tradition, between an absolute, autonomous and "universal" language and a rooting in the specificity of the places.
Both graduated in 2009 at the Faculty of Architecture of Valle Giulia, La Sapienza University of Rome. Massimo Dicecca later obtained his PhD in Architecture and Construction at the same faculty, while Valentina Zappatore specializes in the design and technical direction of museum installations, collaborating continuously with the MAXXI in Rome.
Their field of action therefore ranges from interior design to participation in national and international competitions, from research on architecture and city issues to the design and coordination of exhibitions and events.
