LAMBER + LAMBER

LAMBER + LAMBER is an architectural firm. Our approach to the design is free from any preconception. We simply believe in the best possible project. We use different types of tools: a scale model, a photograph, a reference, a word, a draft: anything can arise in the blink of an eye. To us, each work is unique. However, there is a leitmotiv that connects our projects. This is the innate passion that has been characterizing us for generations and that turns whatever we do into love. A successful project is a project that is worth loving and living regardless of its ultimate purpose: a house, a public space, a wellness facility. To us, architecture is what connects and establishes new relationships between all the things that surround us: people, nature, politics, economy, social networks, fashion, art and passions.
In 2018, Fiorella Lamber and Mario Lamber founded LAMBER + LAMBER. The firm is the natural evolution of the professional careers of both founding members (that are siblings too).
Fiorella Lamber graduated in civil/construction engineering in Bologna in March 1996. In 1997, she became a partner of SABL. She carried out projects on different scales. Specifically, she dealt with urban development projects and master plans including the master plan inspired by the Dutch woonerf. Moreover, she took part in the design of the new elementary school in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bologna). Since 2018, she is a member of the Committee for the architectural quality and the landscape of Sant’Agata Bolognese (Bologna).
Mario Lamber earned a degree in Architecture in Ferrara in 2007. He was one of the co-founders of MMVL architetti. This has soon become of the most renowned emerging architectural groups in Italy (new Italian blood award 2012). Moreover, young blood 09 selected it (annual of Italian talent in the world). Since 2009, he has been collaborating as assistant professor at the University of Architecture of Ferrara in the architectural composition workshops. Since 2018, he is a professor at YACademy in the architecture for wellness course in Bologna.
Due to its constant growth, LAMBER+LAMBER made numerous projects all over Italy specifically in Milan, Bologna, Rome and the Republic of San Marino. Among its most interesting works stand out the centers wellness PRIME in Bologna and Milan, the ongoing project of the PRIME Torre Galfa in Milan, the new parish complex in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna), the re-branding of the wellness centers PALESTRE ITALIANE and the project that won the competition for a diffused hotel in Rosciolo dei Marsi (Aquila). The works of the firm have been exhibited in numerous places including the MAXXI of Rome and the International Biennial of Landscape Architecture in Barcelona.
