Based in NoLo, Milan, MOLTOMENO.DESIGN is the brainchild of Giorgio Martino and Samarth Kirloskar, the duo, an architect and industrial designer have collaborated to create a brand that goes by the ethos of “We create objects for better living. Aesthetically we subtract. Functionally we add.”
They first introduced their works during the Fuorisalone - Milan Design Week 2019 and have since also exhibited at Design Week Genova 2019 as well, where they presented their furniture which is an answer to their continuous research on functional requirements, materials, and structural expressionism. Their work revolves around themes like minimalism, structural beauty, honesty and timeless functionality. Their products, with an immense focus on details showcase the beauty of mechanical structures, the extent of their strength and dynamics while maintaining a minimal aesthetic. They have also emphasised on the packaging, shipping convenience and assembly of their products as well, since all of them can be easily dismantled into very few pieces and be flat-packed into boxes no bigger than the silhouette of the biggest component in each product for convenient shipping.
