We are a German architecture office located in Beijing. We have more than 13 years professional experience in the modern, sustainable architecture field in Europe and now also since the year 2003 in China. We worked on project from a small scale up to the largest scale with different functions (residential, hotel, office and commercial, SOHO, business park). We have the knowledge of the modern architecture language, western, German standard and substantial, green thinking for buildings and city planning.

We hope also that we can consult you and create interesting ideas for new architecture tasks in China. We believe that the future growing of China will build on a higher building standard based on the west European experience from the last decades. Our experiences cover the whole architecture field, the work for master plan design up to 20km², object design with different functions, low rise, high rise and also super high-rise buildings, interior design and land- scape design in different scales. We can offer our clients also some special architecture work like pre study work, analysis of the location, optimize of old concepts, overwork façade design, architecture report and commentary to other projects, be a jury in a competition, support the client with German standards of materials, details and technologies and so on.

Future-orientated urbanism
The urban planning has a extraordinary high responsibility. Their visible erected results affect the society and economy of a whole region as much as the single occupants. And this not only for a short period but over many decades. Urban planning is interdisciplinary task. It integrates the various requirements of the town in different scales and operating levels. The imprinting by culture and history have to be considered, but also probably prospective changes. Ur-ban planning has always to deal with new topics and challenges. The future-orientated design of the city has to detect these processes and to include them into their planning. And also the possibility of later changes and ex- tensions has to be pro- vided. Starting a project we analysis all this conditions and expectations very deep: history, culture, geography, climate as well as social, technical and economic aspects. This happens in a lot of different working steps with a lot of discussions, considerations, and the hearing of experts to special themes.
We start our thinking in bigger scale to focus later to the details.

Future-orientated building design
In the last decades, the building design changed significantly and it is now important sustainable, save energy and economic arguments. The architectural conclusion for us is to develop a suit-able idea, which responds to the environment and the influences factors with compact clear, geometric shapes, efficient, logical floor plan concepts and an objective, reduced, elegant appearance. We have a wide variety of architectural thinking and working styles through our global experience. Each task must be seen as a new challenge. It’s not only a fulfillment of purpose, there must be much more, it is a creative responsibility that characterizes the environment for years.
