Lithologie

Inspired by nature and its beauty, we want to enhance the riches of our territory. Passionate about rocks, the fruit of our research allows us to tell you a fragment of our common history.
Operating in the utmost respect for our environment, we manufacture everything by hand. (Yes, yes, we will even extract the rock ourselves on the mountainside, without heavy machinery). Wanting to create synergy, we chose to work only with local products and manufacturers.

We have this desire to make you discover what our geological heritage has more unusual and wonderful to offer by designing small stone objects.

Incongruous and improbable, the meeting of Stéphane and Kim is like the project is a mix between modernity and heritage. After a few Facebook posts, a rock envelope sent by mail and many, many, many tests, our whiskey cubes are born. Having put all our soul in this story tasteless, we want to offer products that are good, that are durable and that, to be there, are beautiful! Deeply human, we made the choice to take our time to reveal our stones. In our approach, it is important to co-create with our customers and partners. It will take us almost a year and a half, but we are (very) proud to present you Lithology.


KIM IS The industrial designer and artist who was taught respect for nature from a young age, thanks to her grandma, remembers picking up rocks as souvenirs everywhere she went, even buying magazines about Quebec stones. A born entrepreneur, she is an optimist and a go-getter whose persistence is just what it took to get this passion project off the ground.

STEPHANE IS The man from the north who grew up close to nature, working with his hands, with strong convictions and deep-seated respect for the land, maintains the scientific rigour behind Lithologie.
