MAGNA NATURA

Magna Natura is the brand name of a pioneering project, unique in the world for using pure cork wood in furniture, murals and decoration products, designing unique and unrepeatable manufactured pieces, that remain for future generations.
The cork tree is considered the Portuguese tree and elected the European tree for 2018. Magna Natura creates timeless pieces with a strong ecological side, values of sustainability and protection of the environment, given the natural characteristics of cork / pure cork wood.
In fact, the cork tree takes more than 40 years until we can use the cork that is obtained through the bark of the tree that is renewed every nine years. Taking the bark from the tree allows the tree to survive.
To enhance the unique attributes of pure cork taking advantage of its natural characteristics (hypoallergenic properties, thermal, acoustic and vibrational insulation, easy cleaning, waterproof, fire resistant, light, etc.) creating an innovative application of cork in furniture and decoration, is the motto for Magna Natura to take cork even further, showing its real nobility.
Finally, as reflection of this unique, differentiating and innovative feature, awarded Magna Natura during the London Design Fair 2018 (LDF) as one of the TOP 5 trends of the fair and the first in the furniture design.
