Bisà is an independent architecture practice based in the island of Burano since 2011.
Our projects, ranging from interior renovation of private estates to urban scale masterplan, are always the result of an imaginative yet logical approach to complex environments, informed by given economical requirements, policies procedures, up-to-date technical knowledge, and committed social awareness.
Working side by side with our clients we are able to offer complete services from planning consultancy to detailed design and full project management.
Sandro Bisà, born in Venice 1973, graduated in architecture at TUDelft and obtained a PhD in Urban Planning at IUAV in Venice.
Before starting Bisà practice, from 2004 to 2011 he has been been associate partner at Limesland, planning agency based in Berlin and Venice, leading a series of territorial scale projects, especially referred to the greater Venetian lagoon area.
Beside his professional activity, Sandro has been guest professor of urban design at the faculty of Architecture of TUDelft (the Netherlands) and visiting professor at the Science and Art University of Hlab (Syria).
