kiiv

kiiv is a Belgian based textile design studio founded by Klaartje Busselot.

The textiles of kiiv are made exclusively at the customer's request. Each design is designed by Klaartje itself and is created in consultation with the client. Her inspiration for the design is extracted from the space where the textiles will be used. This can be a product or other element from the area both inside and outside the property. However, it may well be part of the history of the property.

In all its designs, the interaction between functionality, imagination and material is of paramount importance, making places or rooms even more unique and personal. This can be made by giving them more warmth, letting it go up in the whole or just making something that is in the style of & color in the interior.

The textile collections are therefore certainly not trend sensitive but unique and designed with a view to sustainability.

Once the design has been approved by the customer the design will be digitally printed on a textile type of choice. There is a wide range of fabrics ranging from cotton, polyester, linen, velvet, silk, lace... As a result, we only produce what is necessary and there is no unnecessary waste of textile paint, so we can also speak of an ecological process.

Both the design and the manufacture of the final product are done in Belgium.
