Dreamed up by Frank Dlugos in the heart of Germany’s majestic Black Forest near Stuttgart, Moovia first took shape as a projection screen and personalized cinema accessory company named Visivo in 2003.
Visivo experienced phenomenal success, but after several years in the industry, couldn’t ignore a growing demand for high-quality, handmade, and fully-customizable cinema chairs. So Visivo decided to make the dream of luxury home theater seating a reality. When Visivo introduced its new seating brand—Moovia—at international tradeshows, the company established itself as a breakthrough perspective in the home theater landscape.
