EMNA is an independent multidisciplinary creative studio. Discover EMNA, our handcrafted furniture brand. We offer an eclectic range of furniture pieces for daily use and distinguished interiors. Our creation is a synergy of an object’s functionality, the purity of its lines, and the nobility of materials worked by the hand of artisans. All our designs are handcrafted one of a kind, limited editions or custumized for your special projects. Underscoring the work of handcrafters is one of the major purpose of EMNA. Our furniture is shipped in tailor-made wooden crates.

Concept

At EMNA the concern is about architecture, design and art. We are sensitive to our surrounding, to our environment, and to the practical needs of our clients. We believe that art has neither nationality nor limits, and this is why our furniture and architectural designs embrace muliticulturalism and several styles. We like minimalist oriental accent and using noble materials such as wood and marble to create useful objects for daily use and distinguished interiors. We are in continuous experimentation, looking for new collaborations to underscore the work of the local handcrafters. We are continually looking for improving our methods and testing new materials with the aim of offering the very best design. Together with the artisans, we believe that we can progress and create a better object and a better space. For us, the ideal design is a synergy of the object (or space) functionality, the purity of its lines, and the nobility of materials worked by the hand of artisans.

About

EMNA is founded in 2014 by Emna Rached; a franco-tunisian architect lately based in Turkey. She worked for more than eight years as an architect specialised in developing 3D architectural images, for one of the most widely-known Paris based agency in this field. She has collaborated with architects from all around the world, on large-scale projects which have been included in international competitions. Regardless of the scope of the project, she always brings to bear a concern for detail, arising from her belief that it is attention to detail which makes a critical difference to the coherent outcome of a project. It is this concern for detail which has led her to create objects which are inspired by what she sees around her in her daily life, details of architecture, and of basic geometrical forms. She believes that her artistic character and the vision and insight which she brings to bear are the result of her multicultural identity and multi-national experience. They have led her to develop an artistic style which combines minimalism and "orientalism", which find their expression in the use of noble materials such as wood, marble, brass, copper and many others. Emna shows a sensitivity to her surroundings, to her environment, and to the practical needs of the clients. For her, the ideal creation is a synergy of the functionality of an object, the purity of its lines, and the nobility of materials worked by the hand of artisans.
