Ingenieurteam Bergmeister GmbH

Ingenieurteam Bergmeister GmbH is an independent engineering society, known outside the Italian borders as competent and innovative engineering and consulting practice. Founded in 1990, the office counts nowadays about 50 collaborators (consisting in engineers, architects, technicians), characterised by a large experience in the herein mentioned specialist areas.

Beside the full range of the classical civil engineering works (studies, reports, planning, consulting and construction supervision) the following activitieshave to be emphasized:

· Fixing and framing technology
· Design of buildings with structural glass elements
· Design and implementation of safety concepts for tunnel design

During the last 20 years projects of different size and difficulty have been developed and completed, across entire Europe, and especially in Italy and Austria.
The founder of the Company, Professor Dr. Konrad Bergmeister, is since 1995 a full professor and member of the executive committee of the Institute for Constructional Civil Engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna. The direct contact with research activity represents an significant resource for the Ingenieurteam Bergmeister.
Owing to the intensive co-operation with the University facilities of BOKU in Vienna, "research and development" can be regarded as a further specialist area of Ingenieurteam Bergmeister.

Due to the participation of Prof. Konrad Bergmeister to several Committees during the last 20 years, as the role of Secretariat of the CEB, Vice Chairman of CABR, Member of the "International Concrete Repair Institute" - the USA, National Expert Commission for Tunnel (World Road Association), Editor of the magazine "Beton- und Stahlbetonbau", Scientific Adviser of the "Zeitschrift des Österreichischen Instituts für Bautechnik", Member of the Academy of the Science of Berlin, various information and contacts have been achievable for the Office.

Prof. Bergmeister gave contribution to about 400 scientific papers in the field of constructional civil engineering, in particular concerning "fixing technology", "adhesive anchorage", "earthquake-proof buildings". Additionally several studies, research and new developments performed in co-operation with the industry and Universities have been conducted.
Lectures and publications for international Symposiums and Magazines and recently also for “Betonkalender” (BK 2004, BK 2005, BK 2006, BK 2007) confirm the grade of innovation and the appreciation of the scientific community.
