Loof - a short history

The roots of Loof go back to 1946. In that year the grandfather of company founder Ward van Zandvoort, Jan van Zandvoort, started a small furniture factory in his hometown Druten. Ton, Ward's father, took over the family business. In the years that followed the factory became a successful producer of modern sleeping furniture under the name Treco (trend & comfort). Today there are retailers in the Netherlands and far abroad. In 2008 Ward breathes new life into his family history by establishing Trecompany. Also Trecompany focused primarily on sleeping furniture. In Spring 2016 the brand is renamed Loof and the first steps are taken to enter other rooms besides the bedroom.
