Studio Andrew Trotter

Studio Andrew Trotter is a renowned multi-disciplinary design office founded by Andrew Trotter, a talented designer with a wealth of experience across various design fields. Andrew studied interior design in Australia from 1990 to 1994 before returning to the UK to work with top brands like Alessi, London Lighting, Anouska Hemple Designs, Yohji Yamamoto, the Michiko Koshino, and Bless. With his creative eye and passion for design, he established Openhouse, first as a design store in Barcelona in 2010, and later opened his house as a gallery of contemporary photography, which culminated in the birth of Openhouse Magazine in 2014.

In 2012, Andrew was commissioned to design a new building for the hotel, Masseria Moroseta, which opened in 2016. This project marked the beginning of Trotter's eponymous studio, which has since expanded its scope to include architecture, interior design, product design, and design consultancy. The studio's design philosophy centers on simplicity, and they firmly believe that every design should reflect the place where it is built.

Studio Andrew Trotter has an impressive portfolio of projects, from private homes to holiday homes, event spaces, and boutique hotels in Byron Bay, Utah, Puglia, Todos Santos, Reggio Emilia, Athens, and the Amalfi Coast. Their works, such as Masseria Moroseta and Villa Cardo, have become iconic landmarks within the Pugliese landscape.
