Sifar Placcati has been operating in the world of wood since 1969, especially in the production of veneers and veneered-board. Over 45 years of experience have enabled us to develop significant knowledge about wood and the best techniques for working it, making us an industry leader and reference point.

With a covered production area of about 40.000 m², 15.000 m² of which is a raw materials warehouse, and a team of more than 50 people, we can quickly respond to our customers' requests by offering targeted, cutting-edge solutions. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

In addition to applying precious wood veneers on conventional substrates such as chipboard, MDF, blockboard and plywood, we have always been attentive to innovation and the development of new products. For furnishings and for the marine industry we produce special acoustic, lightweight, fireproof and vibration-damping panels. In 2007, after years of study and research, we patented EFFEERRE an innovative panel system for subdividing shops with class A60 and B15 fire resistance and RINA certification.

CERTIFICATIONS

Since 2001, Sifar's Quality Management System is certified conforming to the ISO-9001 standard. All our products are certified CATAS E1 (low emission of formaldehyde).
Since 2011 Sifar is certified FSC® C105527 (Certification Number ICILA-COC-000470). FSC® certified products guarantee that raw material come from well managed forests, respecting important ecological, economic and social rights.
