Gaggio is born 60 years ago and is one of the first Italian companies to have developed models of umbrellas dedicated to the professional even of large sizes. The wide range of umbrellas is designed for the Contract world and the HO.RE.CA. sector, hotels, luxury resorts and specialized catering, bars and ice cream shops, swimming pools and beach clubs but also for the private individual who at home is looking for the real relaxation and garden furniture solutions that create settings, patios and design dehors without sacrificing quality and durability. Our umbrellas have always been designed, developed and produced entirely within our company based in Venice in Italy. The company is present with growing success in Italy, in Europe and in the world thanks to the comfort and elegance of its products, rich in strong design contents, which translate into harmony of forms and a recognizable identity of its collections, made with aluminum frames and stainless steel bolts, in combination with innovative materials, fabrics and canopies that minimize the maintenance of the umbrella.
It was 1960 when Vittorio Gaggio, starting out in a small artisan workshop in the Venetian hinterland, devised the very first models of Italian sun umbrellas, starting with the wood from which the slats and poles were created, with the addition of rough canvas that was hand-sewn by his wife Egle. This innate ability to create has since been handed down from generation to generation, as the company evolved like its products.
In this evolution, the company’s mission has always remained the same: to produce umbrellas and covers designed for professional use. Quality, durability, ease of use, aesthetic refinement and attention to details are our distinctive characteristics.
