Architecture Firm Florence / Italy
Tommaso Rossi Fioravanti (Florence, 1973) and Barbara Monica (Parma, 1970) graduated in architecture from the Università degli Studi of Florence. They began working together, recent graduates, with a Florentine studio; just a few later they decided to open their own studio and in 2004 born rosso19 an open structure where professional practice, research, teaching and pubblishing interweave with each other.
Today the studio moved into a former carpentry at San Frediano, florentine neighborhood still rich in crafts' shops and workshops that well represents the spirit of these two young architects who love the contamination and every single facet of their profession.
From research at the university to participate in a group that fight against corruption in the profession to the cooperation with the committees of the Chamber of Architects of Florence they participate enthusiastically to this time of great change in the architectural landscape of their city.
