LUMO Architects is an internationally oriented design studio focusing on innovative ideas, sustainability and unique architectural solutions. LUMO Architects, headed by Lars Sønderskov and Mads Lindstrøm, seek the architectural edge that evolves in the dialogue between Nordic craftsmanship tradition and global contemporary architecture. Our professional approach to architecture is based on the development of original ideas and concepts that carefully balance the unique nature of the assignment, the inherent potential and dynamics of the site as well as specific requests from the client.

LUMO Architects work throughout the architectural spectrum and provide professional services from concept development to complete realization of the build environment. We work as consultants and management contractors and as architects at the turnkey contract level.
The studio has extensive experience in the realization of buildings with a focus on "active architecture" and "architecture at eye level" as recurring themes. We are focused on combining the right amount of creativity and innovative thinking with a solid and professional expertise to ensure that well-tested building solutions go hand in hand with innovation and originality.
