CHA:COL

CHA:COL, Inc. is an architecture firm based in Los Angeles, founded by principals Chinmaya Misra and Apurva Pande in 2006. CHA:COL is a small studio with big ideas. Apurva began his career at the offices of Frank Gehry and Chinmaya at the Jerde Partnership and Gensler. They are also cofounders of a history making school, Metro Charter in downtown Los Angeles.

As a fullservice architecture firm, CHA:COL engages at multiple scales of design without the limitations of practice areas. The rigorous design experience of both principals has allowed CHA:COL to develop a diverse portfolio of internationally recognized creative work within a brief period of time.

Current projects include luxury modern homes across Los Angeles, an extension to a rare Neutra home, multiple livework artist lofts in downtown as well as a hitech creative workplace in Silicon Valley.
