Safdie Rabines Architects

Safdie Rabines Architects is a multifaceted, collaborative and service-centric architecture, interiors and
urban design firm. Based in San Diego, California, we work globally to create innovative, sustainable
and site-specific solutions that are sensitive to their settings and highly responsive to the needs of their
users.

Established in 1994, the firm is led by its founders, husband-and-wife Taal Safdie and Ricardo Rabines,
along with partners Eric Lindebak and Scott Maas. Safdie Rabines is noted for its holistic perspective
across a variety of contexts and scales. We are experts in all facets and phases of programming, design
and construction, and we are acutely aware of how space is perceived and utilized. The habitat and
context of each site informs our design and gives each project its unique character.
