Chyutin Architects was founded by Bracha Chyutin and Michael Chyutin in 1978.
The firm is specializes in the architectural design of public building including interior design and urban planning. It is responsible for the design of Master plans for several academic campuses and buildings as well as many cultural and educational buildings.
Currently the studio is designing three major public buildings in Jerusalem (Museum of Tolerance, Academy Building at the Van Leer Inst., the District Courthouse) and Biotechnology laboratories at Beer Sheva University. The amount of Architects employed by the firm varies to meet the needs of the office and now includes nine Architects.
The Studio won many national competitions for public buildings, and was awarded national and international awards.
B&M Chyutin has published a great number of papers and studies about architecture and urban planning. Among the books they co-authored are: Architecture and Utopia-The Israeli Experiment (Asghat 2007), Architecture for Justice (Tel aviv Museum 2006),From vision to reality- Architecture at Ben Gurion University 1990-2006 (BGU Press 2008)
