Since our inception in 1976, we have been improving the cityscape of Saint Louis, Missouri…one home at a time, one office at a time, one school at a time. We are here to create your vision. It is our purpose to manage your experience and bring your desires to reality. Mitchell Wall Architecture & Design offers you a small office with full services. Our group of seven provides site planning, landscape design, interior design and architecture. Our designs reflect our understanding of space, light, proportion and color. We are with you from conception through completion.

We'd like to help you whatever the size of space you'd like to change or improve. We design additions, renovations, new living space, ground up buildings, homes, offices and institutions. We are here to help you – as we have clients in Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Florida, New York and Puerto Rico. We pride ourselves in listening to our clients. Mitchell Wall Architecture & Design is a proud active member of the National Association of Home Builders, St. Louis Chapter; the 50+ Housing Council; the Custom Home Builders Council; and the Green Building Council. Susan Bower of Mitchell Wall Architecture & Design is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and participates in the Saint Louis Chapter. Susan Bower is nationally registered NCARB and works in multiple states. She is also LEED GA.

We are not looking to expand overseas or go into other arenas of work. We don't want to be builders. We don't want to be general contractors. We just want to be your architect, your interior designer, and your landscape designer.

Mitchell Wall & Associates, Architects, Inc. is a small boutique firm in St. Louis, Missouri. We have been under one ownership since our inception in 1976. We are not for everyone, but if you want innovative designs that remain faithful to your vision, combined with highly personalized service, then we are for you.

We specialize in residential and small commercial and institutional projects. For the past thirty years, we have designed projects throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, Illinois, Florida, and Colorado. We have appeared on the covers of and in articles in St. Louis Magazine, Town & Country Magazine, Homes & Lifestyles, Ladue News, Better Homes & Gardens, Professional Builder Magazine, At Home Magazine, Ladue News Magazine, Traditional Home, St. Louis Homes, Kitchens by Professional Builder Magazine and Estates.

Our professional staff is available to work with you. We will make sure that you are provided with designs that meet your expectations. Our focus is on fulfilling your wish-list while addressing the issues of municipalities, budgets, construction and scheduling. We are fully insured and licensed, and carry professional liability and umbrella coverage. Most importantly, for over 35 years we have designed what you want. Whether your project is a remodeling, renovation, addition, new home or building, interior finishes, or construction administration, we are here to create and manage the experience for you, from conception through completion. We make the process smooth, fun and easy. And we create beautiful space for you.

We'll start with an introductory meeting, at no cost to you. During this meeting we'll discuss your project. We'll want to know your goals and objectives, spatial relationships that are important to you. We'll discuss budget and timing issues. After we reach agreement, we'll be on our way!
