Michael Theyskens and Christian Overdeput had already worked together on several renovation projects during their respective studies. With the years, this collaboration became more intense and was perpetuated in 1998 through the founding of the architectural firm A154, in the form of a private limited company. By working at different scale levels, in a diverse range of fields, from furniture design, small renovations and group homes to the design and realization of large-­‐scale office projects, a very broad scope is created in which A154 creates good, high-­‐quality customized buildings. Neither the scope and nature of the assignment nor the budget prevents the interest in a new assignment, provided an open dialogue is possible with the client in order to achieve good, simple, contemporary architecture.
