Alain Thibodeau founded ActDesign in Montreal in 1994. For 20 years, the interior design and architecture firm has stood out for its wide range of expertise and many projects: residential spaces, condominium complexes, office spaces, stores, showrooms, and even a dog hotel.

Combining conception, interior design, architecture, and project management, the firm’s philosophy is based on comprehensive customization and a complete commitment by each member of the studio to translating every aspect of the client’s specific needs into the reality of built projects.


Alain Thibodeau, born in Lanaudière, lover of culture, travel and design, he cumulates 3 degrees: interior design, architectural technician and construction site management. Designer as ActDesign since '94, while working at renowned firms like TPL (Aedifica) or ScénoPlus. 2005: he dedicates his talent to his studio, incorporated in 2007. Over time, his team achieves numerous residential projects but also commercial ones, all bearing his distinctive signature.
