SILO AR+D is the architecture, research and design practice of Marc Manack and Frank Jacobus. More than a single office or individual, SILO is a network of architects and designers whose talents and resources are leveraged to meet the unique demands of each project. This model of practice enables SILO to provide a diverse range of clients with exceptional value, expertise, and leadership.

SILO’s design work is first and foremost motivated by conversation between architecture’s discipline and practice. On one hand, SILO is interested in the imaginative transformation of a project’s demands, constraints, and specificities into extraordinary, and often unexpected, architectural organizations and patterns. And on the other, SILO’s work acknowledges, reinterprets, misinterprets, mashes-up, and hybridizes architectural precedent.

With permanent offices in Cleveland, Ohio and Fayetteville, Arkansas, SILO consistently works on a number of residential, commercial and institutional projects regionally, nationally and internationally.
