De Zwarte Hond is a design consultancy under the direction of Jeroen de Willigen, Willem Hein Schenk, Eric van Keulen and Jurjen van der Meer. It was established in 1985 in Groningen (NL) and has offices in Rotterdam (N L) and Cologne (DE). Multi-disciplinary teams carry out the integral design and realisation of architecture, urban assignments and landscape issues. Recent projects by De Zwarte Hond are: the Erasmus student-pavilion in Rotterdam (in collaboration with Powerhouse Company), the culture complex De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen and the VolkerWessels headquarters in Amersfoort.
