Punkt Tronics

Punkt., Swiss brand of consumer electronics, was founded in 2008 by Petter Neby. The company's headquarter is situated in the city of Lugano (Tessin). The Punkt. brand launched its first product, the DP 01 cordless phone, in January 2011 at Maison et Objet in Paris. Punkt. is collaborating with famous Industrial designers, such as Jasper Morrison (AC 01 and DP 01). who is currently also the art director of Punkt. and Georges Moanack (ES 01). The products follow three basic principles: function, design and simplicity. In times in which technological devices get more and more complicated, Punk. sets out to make life simpler by going back to the roots of consumer eletronics, following the principle ‘one device, one function'. The consumer thus gets a product that "works straight out of the box".
Punkt.'s products are built to last: they are made of materials of high quality - an antidote to today's throw-away culture. In 2011 Punkt. launched its very first charity campaign: ‘Punkt. for Japan: Still Time to Help’.
