The architectural partnership VS associati was established in 1992 by Fabrizio Volpato e Giorgio Strappazzon.
Specific know how and professional experience have developed a design approach sensible toward technological innovation and sustainability with particular attention to the renovation of buildings and particularly to the restoration of historical buildings.
Since 2000 the practice works within a quality assurance framework in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 standard and in 2008 was certified for social accountability according to SA8000 standard.
Many case histories in the field of bio-architecture have been developed both for private and public clients.
VS associati work is a coherent interpretation of the relationship between nature and architecture.
Recent architecture is based on Solar Active Building design which aims at a reduction of overall energy consumption and CO2 emissions and the use of renewable sources of energy through optimized building envelopes and construction techniques.
The current goal is aimed at off grid sustainable buildings which produce their own energy from renewable sources and optimize consumption .
Examples of this design process are the new extension of the Padova Botanical Gardens and the NZeb Factory which is currently under construction.
