ArquitectonicaGEO was founded in 2005 by co-founder of Arquitectonica, Laurinda Spear, FAIA to explore the complex challenges of contemporary built and natural environments and develop design solutions that balance a modern aesthetic with an environmental practice to create value, identity, and a sustainable landscape.

The GEO landscaping philosophy is based on the principle of preserving a location’s geographic character – the entire combination of natural and human attributes that make one place distinct from another – an authentic design process that preserves the ecological and cultural environment.

The GEO team is led by Ms. Laurinda Spear, Mr. George Fogg, Vice President and Ms. Margarita Blanco, Director. The designs are developed and produced in the firms head office in Miami. The design team is supported by a team of specialist landscape architects, urban planners, horticulturists and designers specifically structured for each project.

ArquitectonicaGEO work’s closely with consultants design team throughout each project. Laurinda Spear retains a hands-on approach throughout the project to guarantee the success of the design for the project. The landscape design is coordinated and managed from ArquitectonicaGEO’s head office under Ms. Margarita Blanco, Project Coordinator, to ensure the continuity with the overall design and close coordination and communications with the client is maintained throughout.
