ARCHITECNO is an Italian company which develops multidisciplinary architectural projects integrating architecture, engineering, restoration, energy saving plans and diagnostics. ARCHITECTURE Architecno plans buildings with a high energy-saving performance thanks to an important focus on all building details as well as a special attention on the technological devices integrated within the building. The main focus of the planning phase is the exploitation of renewable energy sources such as solar energy, photovoltaic, geothermal, cogeneration and wind power. The building is therefore functional and aesthetically pleasing, and includes right from its first planning, important technological details. These aspects are integrated in all the phases involved, as the absence of coordination in the project development could result in a non efficient output. Only highly integrated planning in fact allows cost and energy saving as well as in the attainment of the expected results. DIAGNOSTIC Architecno is highly specialised in diagnostics applied to architectural works. It has been working throughout the entire Italian territory for the analysis and improvement of important historical buildings and monuments. Architecno uses all the necessary evaluation techniques needed for architectural projects and restorations including infrared thermography, ponderal tests and microclimatic surveys. Surveys aiming at the reduction of energetic consumption represent the core focus and these take place through energy audits, the analysis of thermal bridges, the measurement of thermal conductance and the diagnosis of the airtightness of buildings through Blower Door testing. ENERGY RIQUALIFICATION Architecno develops energy saving plans for buildings with high energetic consumption. After a diagnostic analysis of the building, Architecno proposes a solution which might involve the architectural design as well as the substitution of current systems with energy saving devices based on the exploitation of renewable resources. Planning can involve both single apartments and important industrial or residential structures. LIGHTING DESIGN Architecno deals with lighting design paying maximum attention to the conservation of the works and aiming at the enhancement of each monument or building.
