Ninetynine

Ninetynine is founded by Jeroen Vester in 2014 and focusses on concepts and interiors for retail, offices and hospitality. We work with various specialists specifically selected for each project. This allows us to create large teams on large projects and small hands-on teams on small projects.

Ninetynine is based in Amsterdam and works internationally, from a small bar around the corner to large hotels abroad. We strive to work for ambitious clients who are trying to change their game. 

Jeroen Vester started his career as an intern at Concrete Architectural Associates and graduated on the design of a mass-produced 14 sqm hotel room. With some minor adaptations for mass-production the room ended up being the prototype for the CitizenM hotel room. Jeroen joined the team of Concrete and got responsibility for the development of the CitizenM room and the design of the public areas of the first hotel of the chain, which opened in 2008 on Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. After the second and third CitizenM Hotel, the Royal Lounge on Schiphol Airport Amsterdam and several other projects Jeroen ended his 7-year period at Concrete opening W Hotel Leicester Square spring 2011.

Afterwards Jeroen partnered with Sid Lee, combining Sid Lee's commercial creativity on advertising and branding with interior and architecture design. Having worked at several projects including a global retail concept, a new restaurant concept, urban planning and square design for a large retail project in Bordeaux, Jeroen left Sid Lee in March 2012 continuing to work on interior concepts.
