In oficina 3, we believe in comprehensive design solutions that recognize and respond to global concerns regarding our limited natural resources. We approach design in a unique distinctive way. In our projects, we take upon the effort of establishing a design parameter that would apply a percentage of recycled or refurbished material into the building. So collecting fragments of postindustrial content, that later we identify as building components are part of the design phase this allows us to identify the potential logic embedded in the material itself, and thus becoming an active part of the way the spatial qualities are constructed. Our primary interest lays in the ability to create effect through this building medium. That requires a special fluid approach and a method that takes in to consideration the impact it has on context and environment.
